Many have found themselves without work due to business and school closures during this time. If this has happened to you, you can submit for financial aid under the Stafford Act that our President Invoked on March 13th to release relief funds for individuals and businesses who have been affected.   

NOTE: These funds do not come from your employer: You must file with the EDD or with the Disability Act for paid family leave. Review the following information for guidance.

EDD Unemployment: for those that are subject to quarantine, are not ill and one or more of the following applies:

You can be eligible for unemployment insurance under the disaster unemployment program

Paid Family Leave Act: If you are unable to work because you are caring for an ill or quarantined family member you may be eligible to receive paid family leave. Medical records will be required.
